Zanotto Wild Col Fondo
This lightly sparkling white is made using the traditional "Col Fondo" method, which involves fermenting the wine in the bottle on its lees (yeast). This gives it a characteristic complexity and flavour, as well as a longer shelf life. Made from organic Glera grapes from Veneto in Italy, this is something for those wanting to try something slightly different from your conventional supermarket Prosecco. Fermented for three to four days on its skins and then bottled without added sugar or sulfites, it re-ferments naturally creating a refreshing and flavourful dry wine that is perfect for enjoying on its own or with food.
Richard Zanotto is committed to making natural, sustainable wines from organic or biodynamic grapes that he sources only from trusted growers and oenologists, creating wines that are true to the Veneto region. The Col Fondo is a testament to his philosophy and is sure to be a crowd-pleasing favourite no matter the occasion.
