Weeping Juan, Rose Pet Nat, Delinquente Wine Co.
ORGANIC / VEGAN / PET NAT / SPARKLING WINE / ROSE WINE / AUSTRALIAN
Vermentino with a dash of Nero D'Avola made into a tutti-fruity pink Pet Nat. It is a great introduction to the style. Bright, full of fresh fruit, great fun to drink.
The nose hints at sweet berries mixed with an undercurrent of lime and sea spray. The palate opens again with the fruit sweetness, almost raspberry lolly like fruitiness, but is super dry, the acid accentuated by the fine spritz of bubbles, whilst the Nero D'Avola provides a slightly earthy, moreish element. Summer party vibe.

Flavour Profile
This bottle hits you with a nose full of sweet berries, lime, and a hint of coastal sea spray. On the palate, it’s juicy and fruity, think raspberry sweets and watermelon, balanced by crisp acidity and a fine, zippy fizz. There’s just enough of Nero d’Avola’s earthy edge to keep things grounded, leaving a dry, refreshing finish that keeps you coming back.
About the Winery
Delinquente Wine Co. is a small, independent Australian winery rooted in the hot, dry Riverland region of South Australia. They work exclusively with Southern Italian grape varieties that thrive in the local climate, farming organically and crafting playful, expressive wines with minimal intervention. Their labels and low-alcohol, naturally made wines have earned them a cult following for good reason: they’re as fun to drink as they are to look at.
About Rosé Pet Nat
Rosé Pet Nat, or pétillant naturel, is sparkling wine made the ancient way, with just one fermentation completed in the bottle. It’s usually unfiltered, slightly cloudy, and lower in alcohol than Champagne-style sparklers. This version, made with Vermentino and Nero d’Avola, is a juicy, aromatic entry point to the style: bright, unpretentious, and easy to love.
How to Pair It
Weeping Juan is built for good times. Serve it chilled as an aperitif to kick off a sunny afternoon or pop it open at your next picnic or BBQ. Its fresh acidity and berry-forward character pair well with spiced dishes like Moroccan tajines, grilled halloumi, or herby couscous salads. It’s also a great match for charcuterie, fruity desserts, or just salty crisps under a parasol.
