W Rosato Walgate Wines
A textural juicy English rose. A Rosato which is a more structured interpretation of rosé, savoury, vivid and designed as much for the table as for easy sunshine drinking. A vibrant, deep copper-pink hue with notes of tart cranberries, wild field strawberries, and blood orange rind, a slightly chalky grip and a distinct, savoury creaminess.
Grapes come from two standout Essex sites - Crouch Valley and Little Grange - both known for producing some of the ripest, most expressive fruit in England.
Walgate Wines is Ben Walgate's new project after he left Tillingham wines, established in 2023 in Rye, East Sussex.
