Thymiopoulos Atma White
With a name that means “soul” in Greek, this one is an elegant white with bags of personality. Made with free-run juice from Xinomavro (do we call it a blanc de noir?) and Malagouzia, a native Greek variety that was once near extinction. Expect a rich bouquet of white stone fruit, citrus, honey and white pepper. The palate is bone dry, with an almost oily texture leading to a long, saline finish.
Apostolos Thymiopoulos is a leading figure in Greek winemaking, known for his deep connection to Xinomavro. After taking over his family estate in Macedonia, he began producing expressive, terroir-driven wines while promoting organic farming and supporting local growers. His work is key to sustaining Xinomavro in Naoussa, and Jeunes Vignes reflects his commitment to quality, sustainability, and the future of Greek wine.
