Syfany Andre Pet-Nat Rose

£29.00

NATURAL

Fruity · Juicy · A little bit wild

A genuinely joyful rosé pét nat from one of the Czech Republic's most exciting natural producers. Made from 100% André — a cross between Sankt-Laurent and Lemberger developed in Moravia in the 1960s, grown in small quantities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Unfined, unfiltered, and bottled mid-fermentation for a natural sparkle that's as lively as the wine inside. Drink it cold, drink it fast, and share it with someone fun.

Flavour Profile

Vivid notes of raspberries, rhubarb, and cranberries with refreshing, uplifting acidity — this is a wine that doesn't sit still. A slight tannic grip gives it just enough structure to hold its own at the table, while the natural bubbles keep everything bright and moreish. Dry but fruit-forward and slightly funky - in the best possible way. Crisp, clean, and dangerously drinkable.

About Marto Wines

Syfany owns and farms five vineyards around Vrbice with grape varieties typical for the Moravian region. Terroir is something they take seriously - all grapes and even materials used at the winery come from the region, even the acacia wood for their barrels comes from a nearby forest. They take a natural approach throughout, using native yeasts and minimising sulphur use at bottling. Run by Jakub Zborovský alongside his wife, Syfany are an experimental winery using different grapes, plots and vintages to create unique wines that stand out from the crowd.

About Pét Nat

Pétillant naturel — pét nat — is the oldest method of making sparkling wine. The wine is bottled mid-fermentation and finishes in the bottle, creating a natural, gentle fizz without any added sugar, sulphur, or secondary fermentation. The result is a wine that's alive, a little unpredictable, and full of character. It's meant to be drunk young, cold, and with good company.

How to pair it

A versatile, food-friendly wine that punches well above its price. Serve well chilled with a cheese board, charcuterie, or a simple salad. It's brilliant alongside soft cheeses like brie or goat's cheese, fresh strawberries, or fruit-based desserts. Equally happy at a picnic, a BBQ, or an impromptu Tuesday evening gathering.
