Mas Coutelou Quoi qu’il en Goutte

Mas Coutelou Quoi qu’il en Goutte

Write a review

This is a juicy, bold, and little wild natural red. The fruit notes are dominated by blackberry, blueberry, and black cherry with earth and leather on the long finish. There is a touch of fizz when you first open the bottle, which gives it a fantastic tingle, but if that is not for you simply let the bottle rest for ten minutes before drinking. The name translates literally as No matter what, referencing the winery's natural approach to winemaking.

Mas Coutelou is run by Jeff Coutelou who has been making biodynamic wines since 1987. He was the first in the area to convert to organic practices and is still at the forefront of the French natural wine scene.
