Hugues Godme Le Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru
Vinified with natural yeast with partially completed malolactic fermentation. With no dosage, this is dry, expressive and minerally driven. Nose of white fruits. On the palate, it is a tense, straightforward, mineral wine, but always with that touch of deliciousness that makes it so appealing.
Hugues Godmé's Blanc de Noirs is a remarkably balanced cuvée, combining the freshness of the chalky soils of the northern Montagne de Reims with the fruity, racy notes of Pinot Noir. Made from Grand Cru vineyards in Verzy and Verzenay, this cuvée reflects all the freshness and tension characteristic of these north-facing villages. Aged for over six years in the cellars of the house in Verzenay, it develops a lovely patina and delicious flavors.
