It offers ripe red and dark fruit aromas, complemented by classic peppery notes. On the palate, it’s beautifully smooth with velvety tannins, rich confit fruit and a subtle hint of tobacco and leather, plus a vibrant acidity from the Syrah. A touch of spicy blackcurrant adds depth to this well-balanced wine.
Les Vignerons d'Estezargues is a southern French cooperative based in the village of Estézargues in the Gard region of the Rhone Valley. It was founded in 1965 and comprises 10 independent vignerons who farm 420 hectares. This excellent coop is set apart by adopting only 'natural' wine-making procedures - no external yeasts, no fining, no enzymes and so on - all of which contribute to exact and structured wines.
