Waxy with buttery warm fruits, honey, yellow plum, apple and zest. A wine which balances deep, beautifully ripe fruit and a strong mineral backbone with ease, all tied up with that textbook Rheinhessen freshness.
Made with grapes from a single parcel of 60-year-old vines at 330m altitude on limestone soils. The grapes are directly pressed before fermenting and aging in old barrels. A beautiful, pure expression of Riesling which is tasting fantastic now, and is sure to only get better with time.
Marto (Martin Wörner) is a leading figure in German natural wine, influenced by producers like Matassa. His Riesling is celebrated for its unique personality, combining classic Riesling fruit with complex, wilder, and more savory undertones, setting it apart from typical examples.
