The rare pink mutation of the Rkatsiteli grape undergoes extended skin contact, giving this wine its striking pink hue, though its character is anything but playful. This is a serious Kakhetian skin-contact wine, offering the depth, structure, and gentle spice the style is known for. Lively, crunchy fruit is layered with earthy, savoury notes, making it an excellent partner at the table or a compelling glass on its own.
Set beneath the Caucasus Mountains, sociologist Khatia and geologist Gocha have created a contemporary version of traditional Kakhetian life at Anapea Village. Alongside its colourful guesthouses and refined, ingredient-driven restaurant, the winery forms the village’s heart. Here, ancient qvevri winemaking is paired with a thoughtful, modern sensibility, resulting in wines of vibrant energy that remain deeply rooted in Kakheti, shaped by skin contact, ageing, and blending to best express each wine’s character.
