Flavour Profile
Pale coral in the glass, an inviting nose of rhubarb, red berry, and fresh hedgerow fruit. The Pinot Gris brings a gentle floral lift and texture, while the Pinot Noir contributes that characteristic tart English fruit and a whisper of wild strawberry. It's light, refreshing, and beautifully dry - with the chalky mineral finish that is the hallmark of Matt Gregory's Leicestershire terroir.

Matt Gregory makes his wines from Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Bacchus grown in the Leicestershire Wolds, with an emphasis on careful grape handling and minimal intervention - no fining, no filtering, and wild yeasts throughout. Matt Gregory Wines His vineyard sits on a long south-facing slope with a bedrock of 200-million-year-old Jurassic limestone, overlain with glacial deposits of flint and ironstone Matt Gregory Wines — soils that give his wines their distinctive mineral edge. After two decades as a wine merchant and winemaking stints in Sussex and New Zealand, Gregory developed a natural, hands-off approach that lets the terroir do the talking.

This is the perfect warm-weather wine. Serve it well chilled with charcuterie and soft cheeses, smoked salmon or mackerel, or a simple salad with strawberries and goat's cheese. Light enough to sip on its own, characterful enough to hold its own at the table.
