Carefully hand-picked at peak ripeness, the wine is crafted from a mix of whole bunches and destemmed berries. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel with 10 days on skins for depth and character, before natural malolactic fermentation softens the texture and 4 months of ageing retains the wine's freshness and fruit clarity.
Christina grew up on her family's mixed farm, falling in love with wine from an early age - learning the craft from her father before studying oenology to deepen her understanding. Since joining the winery in 2007, she has focused on expressing Carnuntum's unique terroir, a journey that led her and her husband to convert to organic farming in 2013, formalised with certification from the 2018 vintage.
