Black Mountain Winery Pink
A delicate, savoury English pink with fresh red berries, wild strawberry and cranberry alongside a gentle herbal edge and subtle leesy, earthy character. Light and bright at just 9.5% ABV, with refreshing acidity and a dry, slightly textural finish. The extended time in old oak gives it more depth and complexity than a straightforward rosé, while remaining wonderfully easy and refreshing to drink.
Black Mountain Vineyard is a tiny, organically farmed vineyard and off-grid winery in Turnastone, Herefordshire, between Hereford and Hay-on-Wye. Founded by Laura and Mark in 2009, the eight-acre south-facing vineyard sits on clay loam over old red sandstone and is planted with both classic varieties such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier and newer varieties including Solaris and Cabernet Cortis.
