As the weather (finally) warms, and the Easter holidays approach, it's the perfect time to indulge in some springtime feasting with our selection of delicious wines. This month’s case features a range of wines that pair beautifully with the fresh and vibrant flavours of the season. Whether you’re planning festivities or simply looking to enjoy some lovely wine, these are sure to go down a treat.
The Ciello is a fresh and zippy wine with notes of citrus and wildflowers that pair wonderfully with seafood dishes. Another great pairing for fish comes in the form of fan-favourite Chin Chin, which has green apple flavours and a slight spritz - perfect for sipping on a warmer afternoon. Next, we have two nicely textured white wines: a white Rioja and an Australian Chardonnay. Both of these have tropical fruit flavours and a zesty finish, and pair well with spicy or Asian food. On the more aromatic side, we have a Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire, with classic aromas of gooseberry and freshly cut grass, as well as a zesty palate that pairs well with tangy cheeses. Finally, you’ll receive an unusual option in the form of a Slovenian Riesling, a crisp and dry wine with notes of lime and green apple.
