As the weather (finally) warms, and the Easter holidays approach, it's the perfect time to indulge in some springtime feasting with our selection of delicious wines. This month’s case features a range of wines that pair beautifully with the fresh and vibrant flavours of the season. Whether you’re planning festivities or simply looking to enjoy some lovely wine, these are sure to go down a treat.
We start with the Bernardi Prosecco, a light and refreshing bubbly from Italy that’s perfect for sipping on warmer afternoons. Moving onto the whites, we have the Gran Cerdo, a white Rioja with a bright and zesty character, followed by an Australian Chardonnay; a bold and buttery wine with notes of tropical fruit. For the reds, we have a classic French blend containing Cab Sav and Merlot with a ripe and fruity character, as well as the medium-bodied Adaras Tinto that has notes of dark fruit and spice. Both of these would make a great pairing with hearty meat dishes (lamb!) or roasted vegetables. Finally, we have a light and juicy, fruit-forward red from the Pyrenees region in Spain. Its light structure and high acidity make it a great pairing for most foods.
