A fabulously approachable Merlot, blended with a touch of Mourvedre to provide structure and backbone. An attractive fruit ripeness, the emphasis really is on its incredibly smooth structure. Stewed black fruit with a hint of liquorice and a savoury finish. The wine is aged in old French wood for three months to soften and enhance the flavour.
