A great all-rounder of a red, packed full of rich, juicy fruit. To make it, Carignan, Syrah and Grenache grapes were fermented and matured in stainless steel in order to preserve their freshness, resulting in a medium-bodied wine packed full of flavours of red and black cherry and plum, as well as raspberry and hints of liquorice in the background. A great versatile food pairing, but equally delicious on its own!
Christophe Muret is one of our favourite producers; reliably churning out high quality, great value wines from the South of France, made in a sustainable way with love for the grapes and the local terroir. The vines for this project lie (unsurprisingly) between the mountains and the sea, with the fierce Tramontane wind, which funnels through the former into the latter, giving lift and freshness to the wines.
