Flint Charmat English Sparkling
One of the first ever English sparkling made in the Charmat method. This style comes from Italy and involves letting the yeast produce bubbles but in a tank rather than a bottle. This locks in the bright, crisp and juicy character of the fruit. Unlike other sparkling wines which require years of ageing, Charmat is lively, fruit-forward and meant to be enjoyed young.
Full of bright citrus, orchard fruit and floral notes, it’s crisp, clean, and beautifully balanced. The palate is dry when compared to Italian fizz but slightly sweeter than traditional method fizz.
