Fatalone Primitivo Riserva

Fatalone Primitivo Riserva delivers rose petals and caramel on the nose with hints oregano and porcini as it quickly turns gamey. Very fragrant red wine in the manner of a complex new world Pinot noir. The palate holds more weight and concentration than the delicate bouquet would suggest. The tannins are soft and rounded and flavours are of dark fruits and herbs.

Pfaffl Wien 2

Pfaffl Wien 2 is a Pinot Noir with a bit of muscle and spice. Still possesses the grace that comes with Pinot but could stand up to hearty meat dishes. Would also work quite well with spice herb-rich dishes. Medium red wine with refreshing tart red cherry fruit.

Syrah La Rosine IGP, Stephane Ogier

Syrah at its finest, distinctive black pepper on the nose, it echoes the style of Ogier's famous Côte Rôtie. Approachable, with delicate floral aromatics and a juicy yet supple palate. Soft, subtle tannins, linear and fine, La Rosine punches way above its weight. This is a spicy, fulsome yet restrained assemblage which shows off the fine Syrah fruit. Outstanding.
