Cabernet Franc from forty five year old vines. A bright, perfumed wine that pairs pure, vibrant fruit with a little earth and gentle funk. Cherry, raspberry, and a particularly well-integrated vegetal undertone.
Adrien de Mello travelled the world following a love of wine before settling in Anjou in 2015. The full team of him and one long-term employee/friend plow by horse, and Adrien is passionate about foraging wild plants that he allows to grow amongst the vines. His care and attention to detail here produce wines with beautiful clarity and startling purity of fruit.
