A vibrant, glou-glou wine made to spark conversation. Aromatic with notes of herbs, hay, ripe yellow fruit, citrus, and slate-like minerality. Fresh and savoury on the palate, with citrus and a mineral finish. Like a laid-back Jura wine on holiday. Unfiltered and hazy, it’s made from grapes grown around Gavi, fermented with native yeasts in large oak casks.
Stefano Bellotti took over his family farm in Gavi in 1977 at just 18. Starting small, he embraced biodynamic farming, guided by pioneers like Alfredo Roagna and Jean-Pierre Frick. A trailblazer of natural wine, Stefano’s legacy continues through his daughter Ilaria, who now leads Cascina degli Ulivi - a thriving, self-sufficient farm with vineyards, orchards, fields, and gardens.
