Expect cherries, currants, wild herbs, and a touch of spice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe label is an artwork of local artist Miro Veselko: a hand made collage based on old photos of Majer Zemianske Sady, the estate at the beginning of the 20th century, and the Slobodne rooster.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn the Danubian Lowlands of southwest Slovakia is the village of Zemianske Sady, and Slobodné Vinárstvo, run by fourth- and fifth-generation winemakers Agnes Lovecka and Katarina Kuropkova, and their partners Mišo and Andrea. The vineyard has been reclaimed by the Jewish family who still runs it, after it was lost twice: to WWII and then to the communist government.
