There is also just a hint of orange rind developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with firm grip on the entry, fine acidity and structure, grainy in texture with a long masculine finish.

This wine is crafted from some of the estate`s oldest vines, many over 70 years old, which are rooted in the region’s iron-rich clay soils. Pataille employs long macerations and minimal intervention in the cellar, aiming for a pure expression of terroir that reveals complex aromas of dark fruit, earthy notes and subtle spice.

Origin: Bourgogne, France
Vintage: 2021
Grape variety: Pinot Noir
Food pairing: Roast pork, lamb chops, Charcuterie, aged cheeses
Bottle size: 75cl
ABV: 12.5%

ORGANIC / BIODYNAMIC / VEGAN / LOW SULPHITE

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0649/2151/files/domaine_sylvain_pataille_marsannay_l_ancestrale.jpg?v=1791103303
