The vineyards are characterised by Kimmeridgian calcareous soils (thus Calcarius) and are true wines of terroir - mineral, tense, and uncompromising. Valentina has been the leading exponent of biodynamics in Puglia since 2000.

Another killer orange by the Slobodne family, this time 100% Pinot Gris. Destemmed grapes with 2 weeks of skin contact, spontaneous fermentation outdoors, and then aged in steel for 18 months. Floral, fruity, funky, fresh.

The vineyard has been reclaimed by the Jewish family who still runs it, after it was lost twice: to WWII and then to the communist government. The current generation is invested in natural wines and biodiversity; particularly working with skin contact offerings and constant experimentation in their processes.

Grapes from South Africa's oldest white wine vineyard, with vines planted in 1905. The winemaking involved 24 hours of skin contact before spontaneous fermentation and maturation for 12 months in two old 500-litre French oak barrels.

A silky white blend from Rioja, and an excellent value to boot. The majority is Viura, with around ten other varieties making up the remaining 20% (think Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, etc.). The result is a versatile white with lots of soft orchard fruit on the palate, like white apples and pears, with lovely texture and a dry, refreshing finish.

Dedicating the Gran Cerdo label (which translates to Big Pig in Spanish) to the bank executives who wouldn't give him a loan to start his wine business, Gonzalo Grijalba has developed a bit of a cult following. He's extremely passionate about reclaiming the biodiversity of the earth he farms, and has eschewed more commercial practices involving pesticides and herbicides for more biodynamic methods.
