Ciello Bianco is an organic white wine from Sicily. Hands on, natural approach without filtration leaves this wine with a deliciously savoury aspect. The colour is quite deep, the acidity is soaring and very refreshing with great concentration. Lots of quince, apricots and almonds on the finish.

The dynamic Vesco family took over the winery 10 years ago and have since revolutionised the practices and invested in cutting edge technology. Cotes-du-Jura - Tradition, Domaine Macle

ORGANIC
Yellow gold! An oxidative cuvée with a silky texture and notable terroir print on the finish. It is very complex, with floral notes, beeswax, acacia honey, walnut and almond, a good weight and subtle bitters on the finish.
After a year of normal fermentation and ageing in cuvee, this wine was then transferred into 50yo barrels and aged under flor for three years before bottling.

Grapes from South Africa's oldest white wine vineyard planted in 1905. The winemaking involved 24 hours of skin contact before spontaneous fermentation and maturation lasting 12 months in two old 500-litre French oak barrels.

This white is the product of wine-power-couple Marion Ebner and Manfred Ebenauer, the latter of whom was born into a well-established wine family in Austria. Marion, on the other hand, left home at 16 to begin her wine career. She quickly learned the trade, and swiftly established herself as a fantastic young winemaker in the region. The two of them combined create a force to be reckoned with in the world of natural wine.

The couple who founded Elgin Ridge produce certified organic and biodynamic wines after selling their London IT business and following their long-time dream of winemaking. They prefer to rely on natural pest control, with ducks roaming the rows of grapes instead of chemical repellants. High on a hill close to the Atlantic, they have idyllic views and conditions for grape growing.

Être à l'Ouest translates loosely as "leftfield" or "away with the fairies", which sums this bottle up pretty well! Crazy man on a crazy label, barely fined or filtered Chardonnay under a crown cap.

The exact proportion of the blend is a mystery, the producer allowed it to evolve naturally, a wonderful mosaic very much more than the sum of its parts. This wine would please anyone, a lush, tropical blend opening up a panoply of flavours such nectarine, lychee and citrus. Spicy and floral on the nose, a soft rounded sweetness, smooth and layered, it finishes clean and crisp. Exceptionally food friendly wine, it will match especially well spice and heat.
